leaving by train, surrounded by giant glass cages and reflective structures consumed with light —i remember thinking to myself, it is so simple to see what is and what isn’t, lately. how it’s getting easier to find a revival in anything but it is up to me to make it last. how that has always been the case, but how i have not always been as ready as this. empty spaces housing crowded rooms, an island to another island. different weather but familiarity and, something else. what is it, that makes us want to learn certain bodies?
